Falconry in itself is a very time consuming and technical skill, but Pest control with falcons and hawks itself is a very simple non-invasive way of dispersing our avian pests without leaving a footprint behind. Our targeted birds such as seagulls, pigeons, starlings and crows to name a few, are in themselves prey. Us flying our highly trained pest control birds will put the fear factor into them making them disperse to the far off horizon in fear of their lives purely on their natural instinct.

When Hire a Hawk UK is providing regular visits to your premises the pest birds become convinced that a raptor is resident in that area making them feel uncomfortable to feed, roost and nest on your premises. Let's face it would you want to settle down and raise your young in constant fear of your lifes, no I wouldn't either. It's far easier to move a few miles up the road and live in peace.

We have a selection off birds at Hire a Hawk that we can pick and choose from to provide the best service at your premises, for example a Harris hawk will not be as useful clearing a big open space such as a landfill or airfield but will be in it element flying in built up areas and in the rafters off your warehouse, and vice versa a falcon tearing up the open sky in a large area will soon clear problem birds fast and effectively along with eventually totally changing the pest birds flight lines meaning they will avoid your site all together.

Our service is as simple as it comes, one of our highly skilled falconers will arrive at your site and find the most appropriate points from which to fly from making the largest impact, and fly their birds be it falcon or hawk. As our bird is released the pest birds will make for the sky, have a little complaint then disperse, our falconer will then relentlessly fly their bird in a proactive manner keeping the site clear throughout the visit. If we are witnessing a spell off adverse weather conditions like gale force winds or torrential rain where it is just not possible for us to fly our birds, don't worry we won't just not make a site visit or spend the visit sat in the van, we can still be proactive and rid your avian pests. We are fully kitted out with all the kit. We have hand held bioacoustic machines that will imitate injured and scared birds, we have gas guns which emit a loud bang with have blank firing pistols for the not so loud bangs, priceless for in built up areas, laser pens, air rockets our artillery is endless giving you peace of mind that we are being proactive and giving you great value for money.

A lot of companies will advise on monthly longer visits that are simply to benefit themselves rather than you, you are much better off with little and often on random days and times to cause as much disruption to the prey birds as possible. Breaking their routine forcing them to adjust their entire day just for them to feel safe, it's all these things that we have studied, observed and acknowledged that make us who we are.
